Ameri-Can is a family owned and operated business based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia on an 8 acre facility. The history of Ameri-Can goes back to 1965 when the Sidhu family first came to Canada. After getting involved in agriculture, they worked hard to purchase their first farm and vehicle in 1979. The truck was primarily used to haul their produce to the local canaries for processing. For the past 27 years they remained committed to their farming roots and continued to expand their business in different avenues. Realizing the importance that transportation played in the supply chain of exporting their berries, Dave along with the help of his father opened up their own transportation company, Ameri-Can Logistics Ltd.
With deregulation in the trucking industry in the mid 1980's, Ameri-Can was able to take advantage of acquiring running authorities to cover all of Canada and the entire United States of America. Ameri-Can's primary focus of serving the perishable market also expanded into different segments of the trucking industry.
Today, with special thanks to all of our customers, Ameri-Can is able to offer a variety of transportation solutions with its contracted fleet of over 300 trucks and over 400 trailers. Our continued pursuit of providing transportation excellence is due to the appreciation we have for all of our customers who have grown with us and to all future customers who we will grow with.
